Santhivanam – School for Intellectually Disabled
Santhivanam School for Intellectually Disabled has been a nurturing space for children with intellectual disabilities since its inception. The school offers both residential and day-care facilities for children aged 5 to 14 years, providing a safe and caring environment that feels like home.
With a current strength of 88 students, including 61 residential beneficiaries with severe and profound disabilities and 27 day scholars, the school remains dedicated to offering individualized care, therapy, and education. Each child receives regular medical attention and the support of a team of qualified, trained, and compassionate teachers who work tirelessly to bring them closer to the mainstream of society.
