VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE

Prathyasha Bhavan, the Vocational Training Centre of Pope Paul Mercy Home Special School, is a place where ability meets opportunity. Envisioned to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the center bridges the gap between learning and livelihood. Designed with compassion and inclusivity, our training programs focus on building real-world skills that pave the way toward economic independence and  personal dignity.
We offer over 20 structured vocational training courses, tailored to the diverse needs and talents of our students. The portfolio includes baking, tailoring, organic farming, bookbinding, paper plate and file making, cover production, pen assembly, and doll making. Alongside, trainees also master the art of candle making, soap and detergent preparation, handwash and phenyl production. Creative ventures like rosary crafting, home décor design, and incense stick rolling inspire entrepreneurship and self-expression.
At Prathyasha Bhavan, every activity is more than just training—it is a path to transformation. Through individual attention, practical experience, and continuous motivation, we help each learner unlock their potential and move toward a life of confidence, purpose, and self-reliance. Every product they create carries not just skill—but a story of hope and empowerment.
